A Quick Trip

Our spring break is winding down. We were all very grateful that Trey was off this week, too. It was surprise for all of us! We've hung around the house most of the week and have done a few odds and ends.

Thursday evening we headed to San Antonio for a quick overnight trip. We stayed in a great place on the Riverwalk. Walker LOVES to stay in a hotel. He kept skipping and hopping in the lobby. The desk clerk thought he was a hoot, so she asked him if he wanted to stay on the tippy top floor. We did and got a corner room to boot! He sure is handy to have around, you know, since he's so cute and has a great personality! We ate at Rainforest Cafe. Walker was worried about the "storm" that happens there. In fact, as we were getting ready to leave he said, "Let's get out of here before the next one hits."

The next morning we headed to the Witte Museum and viewed the dinosaur exhibit. Really good! I'd never been to the Witte but have heard lots of great things about it. All the boys enjoyed it! We even ran into my cousin's wife, Cassandra and sweet, sweet baby boy Clayton! What a small world! Walker wasn't so sure about the dinosaurs. They were animatronics and roared and moved! He didn't move too far away from me the whole time we were in the dino rooms. He's getting bigger, but he's still just a baby, really! He'll always be my baby!

Brave when dinos are in a case.

If they weren't in an enclosed case,
THIS is how Walker looked at them.
Timid and not-so-sure.

Not a dinosaur.

Then we headed to The Tower of the Americas in downtown SA for lunch. Cool! We had a wonderful meal. Trey and the boys had never eaten a meal at over 700 feet in the air! The longer we stayed, the more the boys liked it.

Horsing around....being boys

On the way home we stopped and played put-put golf again. Walker's request. The boy was really wanting to play put-put. It was the only thing he talked about. The big boys got to drive go-carts, and Mac thought that was a blast. Weston is going to be a careful driver! Spinning out was not what he wanted to do....not yet at least.

Check out the difference in their leg lengths!

A new look....the double hat.

We had a fabulous time, spending time together~laughing and smiling and being a family! I love my boys!!

Speaking of boys..........I'm going to be an aunt again! My brother and sister-in-law are having another boy in August or September! BOYS are everywhere in my family!!! Good thing I love boys!!!
